Brothers and sisters at Thai Plum Village are happy to once again stay hand in hand with you all around the world in the up-coming online Holiday Retreat titled “The Power of Now” on December 27-31, 2021.
The retreat “The Power of Now” is a gift that we would like to present to our beloved friends to celebrate the end of the year 2021. This retreat is an opportunity for all of us to come back and recognize the available conditions for happiness in the present moment, nurturing a healthy living that offers us peace and harmony with family, friends, and the community. In this retreat, practices including sitting meditation, walking meditation, and eating in silence, … will allow happiness to be possible while difficulties, suffering, and anxiety easily transformed.
Life can only be possible in the present moment. If we are able to dwell happily in the present moment today, we will surely be in the future. “Happiness is not the matter of the future” is the message that the retreat would like to offer to you.
The main language used in the retreat will be English, while translations in selected languages will be available.
